I photograph nature for enjoyment, currently using a Nikon D800 along with a Olympus Tough TG4 for underwater (snorkeling) shots. The photos should be large enough to be attractive but small enough to download readily; if a photo doesn’t appear on these pages as it should, try reloading the page. Please contact me if you wish to use any of my photos.
I have posted nature photos from my recent trips to South Texas (Mar 1 – 10, 2018) and to the Galapagos (Oct 29 – Nov 5, 2016). Look under Views of Nature for Galapagos 2016 land and Galapagos 2016 snorkel. I have also added a gallery of scenes from Monhegan Island, Maine. And I will be leading a trip for Hamilton College to Costa Rica in January, 2019; let me know if you’re interested! (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Note that whichever you choose, Views of Nature or Scenes of different place, the photos should appear one at a time and rotate every 4 or 5 seconds. The pull-down menu under Views of Nature shows places I have been and have become enthralled by the nature found there. Twitchell (in the Adirondacks Mountains of New York) and Monhegan (an island off the coast of Maine) are special places.
In September, 2017, I started painting, too – acrylics on canvas – and I have now added my painting efforts.
